CHALLENGE

Ancoats Guitars had been building guitars in Manchester since 2015 - bespoke, £1,000+ instruments with a loyal following. But growth had stalled and sales became inconsistent, with no paid acquisition system in place. Just organic Instagram and word of mouth.

With stock guitars ready to move and ambitions to scale, Ancoats Guitars needed a paid media foundation built around their best asset: the craft itself.

OBJECTIVE

Launch a Meta ads system from scratch, drive awareness and sales for both custom and stock guitars, and build the infrastructure to scale consistently - without losing the brand's authenticity.

METHOD

We launched targeted Meta campaigns with high-production content, UGC and static carousel ads showcasing individual guitar models - the NQ, New Islington, and Granada - each linking directly to the relevant product page.

Risk reversal messaging (14-day guarantee, introductory discount) was built into the creative to reduce friction on a considered purchase. Tracking infrastructure was implemented in parallel to set the business up for data-driven scaling going forward.

SUCCESS

Achieved a ROAS of 4.28 within the first 3 months and increased Q1 order volume by 195% versus the previous year.
